Filters

Overview:

Filters are provided for almost all listing grids available in MDS LMS system. Each column header are filterable and based on search keyword; listing grid will provide search results.

	Filter
	Click on filter icon shown on each column of the listing grid. Click the filter icon on the data column for which you want to apply filter condition.

Filter Criteria Window

Filter criteria window opens when you click on filter icon shown on data column.

Please note that:

ü Filter value(s) applied on records are not case sensitive. It means, system brings records having text “MDS” even if you have enter filter value as “MDS” and vice versa.

ü Filter window displays applicable filter options based on the data type of the data column you have selected the filter for. For example, data types like String, Numeric, Date and Boolean, etc.

ü It provides "AND" and "OR" options to enhance the filter condition.

System displays appropriate filter options based on the data type of the data column.

Filter Button

Click on Filter button to run the filter condition you have applied for the selected data column. On selecting Filter, system fetches records based on the filter condition and displays in the listing grid.

Clear Filter Criteria

Click on Clear button clears the filter condition you have applied for the selected data column. On selecting Clear, system fetches records based on filter(s), if applied on other data column(s), otherwise fetches all records and displays in the listing grid.
